What is plantar fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis is a condition that affects the plantar fascia that runs from your heel to your toes and helps to support the arch of your foot. When this tissue gets inflamed, it leads to discomfort at the bottom of your foot, especially when you take your first few steps in the morning.
